My little baby sister is getting married!

Its crazy…I remember her falling asleep in a dresser drawer that she had just emptied of its contents. And now, she’s all grown up and in love. I’ll admit, I was a bit worried when I found out she was serious with “some guy” and would probably get engaged soon…I had never met him and hoped he was right for her. Well, I met him (after they got engaged) and thought he was perfect for her! Tyler is a great guy and I know they will be happy.

So, of course, I offered my photography services and last Thursday we went out to get some engagement shots. We were trying to beat the rain, but it stopped about 2 minutes before we started! I guess it was meant to be. Well, here they are:

You may remember Ashley and Nate from their engagement, bridal, and wedding portraits. Nancy and Austin also had family pictures done with his family. Now it’s the Flinders’ turn. These really turned out so great! We were at the park by 7:00 AM (that’s right, AM!) to get some great shots, and then we went to Milt and Adele’s house for some more formal type shots. what is a team member?
A team member is a senior that will represent Images Photography at their high school. We only accept ONE team member per school and they’re it. As and Images Photography TM you get ALL KINDS of stuff for helping out including tons of cash, lots of print credit, unlimited free sessions and other stuff like gift cards to the movies, itunes…whatever.

what does a TM do?
As a TM you’ll come in early for a promo-session and we’ll use those images to create and print tons of rep cards for you. You then take those cards to school THE WEEK OF our 10-hour sale, promote the heck out of us passing cards to every person that breathes and having those people pass them out FOR YOU as well - the more the merrier. For each senior from your school that books during the 10 hour sale, you will recieve cash and credit.

what is the 10 hour sale?
The sale itself is for any senior that books a session for May through September ON THE SALE DATE. The sale price is $100 off BUT we split that up two ways. It breaks down to $50 off the session and a $50 credit toward prints. In order for the senior to count as “booked” they must pay the session fee within 3 days of reserving their date.

what’s in it for you?
TMs get a fast $15 in cold cash for EVERY PERSON WHO BOOKS FROM THEIR SCHOOL DURING OUR SALE DAY. On top of that we have bonus levels up to 50 sessions per school where we add a few extra bucks on. How much money you make is directly related to how hard you market for us.

On top of that perk, you’ll also get free sessions for one year along with a print credit of 20x the number of seniors that booked on our sale day. So if you did max out at 50 seniors, that would be another $1000 in print credit for you. or if you got 22 people to call, you’d have $440 dollars in credit.

The 10 gallery wrapped canvas portraits I donated to McKay Dee Hospial are finally up in Labor and Delivery.

My baby just turned 8 months old! My how the time flies. I decided to get shome shots of him in all his “big boy baby”-ness. We took him down to SLC for some fun urban shots. I love the bright colors and different textures. This type of session would be fun for older babies, children, seniors, and even families…especially if everyone wore colorful and funky outfits.

I can’t believe how fast babies grow. I look back at the many (many, many, many) pictures I’ve taken of my little guy and am just amazed by all the changes. Right now he can sit up on his own and can stand with help. I believe it’s so important to document the stages of your baby’s development.

My hubby Troy seems to think that Ben looks like he is a midget in giant-ville in these images…I think they show how big (or little) his is and the relationship in sizes between him and his dad.

I love his silly little face in this one ^^^. Isn’t he just a riot?!

Not sure why, but this image of Ben looking away ^^^ is just so him. I love it to pieces. I also love that his little piggy’s are exposed.

When I was pregnant, I worried that I wouldn’t be a good mother. This fear consumed my thoughts. Even after Ben was born I still wondered if I was doing it right. I think all women/mothers think like this. Finally, when Ben was about 5 months old I had an “aha” moment where I realized I was okay. Ben had started getting sick and he had been coughing and then choking on his saliva. One time he started coughing/choking and I held him and patted his back and put my other hand in front of his mouth. He then proceeded to throw up…in my hand. At that moment all I could think about was my baby and how scared and uncomfortable he must be, I was more worried about him than about the puke in my hand. I believe that is when I realized I could do this…I could be am a mother. I’m sure all mothers come to this realization at some point.

I bring this up because today I’m sharing some images of the beautiful Kennedy. I come to a newborn session prepared for the baby to pee. Kennedy decided to poop…all over her mom. And, being the fabulous mother that she is, she just said…”Don’t worry about me, let keep shooting.” What a woman! Regardless of the poop, I think we got some fabuouls images. It was so hard to pick favorites but here are a few of mine:
